I have EAD that is valid till Dec 2007, but I will be on leave of absence overseas from mid Feb to October , 2007. ( my Travel parole also expires in Dec 07)
My I-485 is pending with PD Jul 2002 ( EB3 india)
Will this time off destroy my Green Card application?
( does the EAD lose its validity if I stay overseas for >6 months and will this impact my GC process?)

I have one question?
What if my employer cancels I140 and I don't have any other job on my hand? This can be a possibility for me in near future. I am searching for a new job and my employer is going to cancel I140.
Is it good to wait for any RFE or denial and if it occurs, just sending them new EVL of any consulting firm (with or without project) will help?

It is stating the obvious to say that blogs have been playing an ever important role in creating awareness of issues and shaping public opinion; yet we've not had a good representation of our issues in the blogosphere.
The flower campaign got a lot of attention in mainstream media but we did not have a good co-ordinated effort going on in the blogging community.
As we go forward, I think we should have a communication medium so that all the bloggers interested in these issues can discuss and execute strategies.
So if you are a blogger or are interested in becoming one, please join this Google group. Hopefully for future campaigns like rallies etc. we will be able to create more awareness in the blogging community.

My spouse currently is in H4. Is it possible to get his F1 visa stamped (with i-20 and other documents) within US? for example, in local USCIS offices.?
Also, does getting COS (h4 to f1) approved means, we can exit and enter US without stamping in INDIA?

You could try to reopen the case with Supporting evidence of ill health and age. This is a long shot, but a good attroney should be able to pose a compelling argument. Also, try to get an infopass appointment and talk to someone about your options.

I dont think this is going to affect non immigrant community (read as H1s, GC etc). This is all about politics to gain the support of rich and influential Indian American community for the DNC and upcoming elections.

I start to study WOM, my district court web doesn't list anything about that, then I find aonther site lists WOM cases filed in my district, but no status mentioned. Does anyone knows? I appreciate!
