So you will not contact any reporter for your idea. You will not want to travel to DC or meet any lawmaker with your idea. You will only write annomymous comments and blame IV.
I wish campaigns were so easy. I feel the reason why you are not serious is because you already have EAD.

Well my story isn't really as bad some of the stories described here but the last 4 years of waiting for the freaking LC to clear has pretty much screwed up my wife's career. There have been days of utter frustration, fight and bad days for us because of the "dependent" visa.
Its not like my job is great either. I am stuck in the same position for the last 5 years because of the freaking labor certification. Looks like I will be stuck for another couple of years. If I bail out now and leave for India it will be hard to find a suitable position because I have been unable to move up because of GC and at the same time my wife will have the impossible task of finding a job after 4 years of unemployment.
For this reason I am wiling to gamble at least another year or two, so that my wife can work and I can get a better job and then we can start thinking about where we really want to settle :) Gosh, never knew trying to settle in US with a GC will be so unsettling :(

Called USCIS on friday and asked them to expedite since i can lose by job. current ead expires on sept 5 th and filed renewal on june 24th. I see so many cases getting approved with much later dates.
Any sugestions on what steps to follow?

There is no such thing as "invoking" AC21. Its a law. Most important thing is, your I-140 must have been approved and I-485 is pending for more then 180 days....you are Free to sail in the same or similar field.
Forget about option 2.

How about if I send in Ac 21 paperwork and still be on leave of absence from my present company which sponsored my GC. It only gives me peace of mind because in case the new job does not work out I can still come back...

It is the Ombudsman�s understanding that if field offices have a workload of 1,000 cases and USCIS determines each case usually takes one hour to complete, USCIS will provide financial support for 1,000 hours. Cases that take longer than an hour to complete are not provided additional resources in the office�s budget. Offices with more than the average numbers of difficult cases or offices that try to work the difficult cases thoroughly will not be adequately funded because the number of completions will be low. Meanwhile, offices that push to complete the easy cases will see their budgets grow.

you dont need to send the original passport. you will need to send a copy of the passport though.

Are they processing based on received date or notice date???
If your lucky no date matters it will be approved any time , Techinically it should be receipt date , but who knows whatz going on ..
Recepit Date and Notice Date are like project requirements which some team members get it right and some dont ..
I think it will take few more years before they finish working on July 2007 cases and stream lining the process , so I guess for next year or so it will all be luck

Which state are we talking about here?
New DL renewal Procedure is a painful process which started August 1, 2006.
The process involves;
1. Visiting a DMV office and they will ask for your documents and give you a case number which you will present to MVI.
2. MVI will investigate your immigration status with USCIS and you will receive a letter after 5-7 days. If there is a problem, it will take upto 9 weeks. This means, you cannot drive until they have verified your legal status in the US.
This is a new procedure and I know a couple of friends who currently cannot drive because they cannot renew their license.
At first, DMV branches were unaware of this new procedure.
Has anyone been through this new process and successfully pass through MVI and renewed their license or is anyone waiting for the letter from MVI for more than 7 days.

Hi everybody,
I will post here my query about I-140 because I didn't want to start a new thread only for my question.
It's still regarding I-140 application.....I wanted to ask you if you need all employment letters that are written on Labor Ceritificate..or is it enough to submit only a few not all the employment letters for every job that was written on Labor certificate?
How is it working?
I wwould highly apprecite your help.

You are absolutly incorrect. Unfortunatly most lawyer or their web sites do not explain the limitation of "parole". Because most of the CBP at POE are flexible; that does not mean that the law is flexible. This is what the instruction for AP in the form.
"Advance parole is an extraordinary measure used sparingly to bring an otherwise inadmissible alien to the United States for a temporary period of time due to a compelling emergency. Advance parole cannot be used to circumvent the normal visa issuing procedures and is not a means to bypass delays in visa issuance."

What is your understating on money return on whole life ins. plocy?. do you think you can cancel at anytime and get back your premium or withdraw portion of your investment?
Does anything mentioned on your link about policy surrender or money withdrawal when policy is in force? please search more and post here....
As far as I know whatever premium you pay is gone when you cancel the policy but if the policy has cash value then you get that amount.
